Why is local network permission required?
Findroid uses your local Wi-Fi network to establish a secure, high-speed connection between devices without using cellular data or external servers.
Which systems are supported?
Findroid requires macOS 14.6 (Sonoma) or later, and Android 8.0 (Oreo) or later.
What if I don't have a Wi-Fi network available?
Most modern Android devices support creating a Mobile Hotspot. Findroid can work seamlessly by connecting your Mac directly to your phone's hotspot.
What about my data privacy?
Your files are transferred directly between your devices over your local network. We never see, store, or process your data on any cloud servers.
